FLED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Lack of access to quality education and life skills development is a major hindrance to full development of young people. The inability to access education and skills limits their chances to live independent adult life and participate in development processes.
FLED recognizes that the major reason many disadvantaged children and youths cannot access education and life skills training is because of lack of resources – mainly financials.
It is for this reason that FLED Scholarship program was created to support young children and youths who are financially disadvantaged to have access to formal education and skills training opportunities that help them attain independent lives.
The scholarship duration and value varies depending on the specific need of the individual child or youth.
The scholarship is in three categories:
- Primary and Secondary students,
- Tertiary
- Out-of-school Youths, and
- Those seeking to attend courses at FLED Institute
