Dr. Ogbuagu Becomes Director of the Africa Centre for Public Leadership
Fled International Leadership Institute is delighted to announce the appointment of Dr. Regina Anuli Ogbuagu, fpl, as the new Director of the Africa Centre for Public Leadership at the Institute, Abuja.
The appointment which takes effect from May 1, 2024, was announced by the President/CEO of FLED Group, Dr. Joseph C. Ibekwe in Abuja on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Dr. Ogbuagu who takes over from Prof. Maj. Amboson Aku, (RTD) fss, is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Development Studies, Alex Ekwueme Federal University, Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State.
She holds a Ph.D in Monetary Economics from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, and M.Sc. in Monetary Economics from the University of Port Harcourt.
Dr. Anuli has attended international conferences including Global Awareness Society International Held in Philadelphia USA (2015), The International Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines, Dallas, Texas USA (2016), and The International Academy of Business and Public Administration Disciplines, Dallas, Texas USA (2017), DSA conferences on Sustainable Development in Milton Keynes, London (2019) and also several local and institutional conference.
Dr. Ogbuagu is an inducted Fellow in Public Leadership at FLED Institute; and a certified member of the Nigerian Economic Association; American Economic Association; and European Centre for Research Training and Development, UK; and others. She is also the Chairperson of the African-Global Academy for Women Research Experts (AGAWRE).
Working in concert with her team, Dr. Ogbuagu brings her multidisciplinary professional exposure on board to drive the mission of the Centre to a new level.
The Africa Centre for Public Leadership at FLED International Leadership Institute is responsible for public leadership inductions, collaborating with tertiary institutions to mainstream leadership development as non-academic programs; supporting inducted leaders to undertake Continuing Professional Leadership Development, promoting Peer Review processes for leaders in the public space, as well as organizing discourses and seminars on values-driven public leadership in Africa.
