Leadership & Entrepreneurial Workshop for Ezeagbogu Youths
As part of Institutional Back to My Roots Project (BMR), Foundation for Leadership & Education Development, FLED, Abuja in collaboration with Ezeagbogu Abrodians Development Union , EADU, proposes to hold a four-day Leadership & Entrepreneurial Workshop for Youths in Ezeagbogu, Ezinihitte Mbaise, Imo State.
This workshop seeks to build on the previous ones held in 2016 and 2017 with the support of EADU. In the past edition, after the training, some youths received small start-up capital for their businesses, which was funded by the EADU.
The 2023 Workshop
This workshop will refocus the youths out of social misconducts and establish them on the paths for self-reliance.
Particularly, it will equip the youths the requisite leadership skills, character and entrepreneurial competencies require to starting and running profitable micro and small business enterprises.
Hopefully some outstanding participants will receive financial grants to start-up new businesses or scale up existing ones.
Workshop Objectives
At the end of the Workshop participants will be able to:
Clarify the meaning of leadership and values that sustain leadership
Build personal character for success in life and business
Acquire Personal Entrepreneurial Competencies
Identify how to structure their business for growth and sustainability
Develop Personal Business Plans
Identify hindrances to Business Success and how to overcome them
Learn how to engage in community Development and attract Government recognition for support.

Date: Wednesday – Saturday, December 20-23, 2023
Total Cost: N1.5m
This covers the following: Resource Material including Certificates, Rent of hall for 4 days, Lunch for participants, each day, transportation for participants each day, hiring and fueling of generator, security and community support, small honorarium for facilitators, ect.
Post-Workshop Mentoring
Youths that participate in the program will receive one-year free mentoring support from FLED Foundation. This will enable the Foundation monitor their progress and continue to provide other supports over the period of 12 months.
The Foundation will be delighted to share her over 25 years experience of work with youths in other parts of the country, as we collaborate with EADU to build the capacity Ezeagbogu Youths.
