Admission requirements

Individuals that desire to apply for any course in the School of Postgraduate studies at Fled Institute must possess a minimum of first degree or HND in any filed of study. Evidence of work experience will also be required.

In the case of Professional Diploma Programs, WASC could be accepted, provided the candidate has the intellectual capacity to undertake the course.

Application Process

In addition to approved educational qualifications, admission into Postgraduate Programs is processed through Validation of Prior Learning and Experience – VPLE.

Delivery Mode

Courses are delivered online and Onsite. Materials delivered in various formats including zoom meeting, PDF files, Voice recordings, etc.

Professional Diploma Programs

Duration: 6 – 9 months.

Tuition  Range: N200k – 300k/$250-350

Admission Requirements

A minimum of an OND/HND/Bachelors degree in any field from a recognized institution.

Work Experience
Proof of work experience may be required.

Postgraduate Certificate Programs 

Duration: 9- 12 months.

A minimum of an HND/Bachelors Degree in any field from a recognized institution

Executive Masters Programs  

Executive Masters in Public Leadership – M.pl

The Executive Masters (M.pl) in Public Leadership is designed to build the student’s capacity in critical thinking, leadership values, diversity management, politics and governance, policies and ethics. 

Students will have the opportunity to specialized before graduation.

Admission Criteria

Applicants must have a good fort degree or HND, in addition to a Professional Diploma or Postgraduate Certificate from Fled Institute or any other recognized institution.

Duration: 12-18 months.

Tuition: N600k – 750k/$600 – 750/year

Executive Doctorate in Public Leadership – Dr.pl

Duration: 18 – 30 months

Tuition: N1.5m-2m/$1,200 – 1,500/year

Admission Criteria

Posses a good Masters in any discipline, a Postgraduate Certificate from Fled Institute or any other recognized institution, in addition to Validation of Prior Learning and Experience – VPLE.

The applicant is expected to submit a portfolio of evidence for evaluation, which are assessed based on the individual’s prior and current work experience, skills, competencies, publication, and formal education.

The final award of M.pl and Dr.pl is based on the candidate’s fulfilment of the five conditions listed below .

Program Content   

Theoretical Coursework – Candidate is required to take selected courses at the Institute.   

Seminar Presentation – Candidates are required to conduct in-depth study of a key concept of public interest and prepare a paper on it for presentation and assessment.

Mentoring Engagement – Candidate is expected to engage in practical mentorship assignment of not less than 2 months as part of the program.

Social Impact Project – Candidate is expected to initiate and execute a social impact project to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility.

Educational Leadership Study Tour – Candidate is expected to undertake a visit to a corporate or governmental Institution within or outside their country of residence and develop a learning outcome of the study tour.
