Fled International Leadership Institute invites qualified and interested leaders to apply for 2025/2026 session of Executive Doctorate Program in Public Leadership.

The Executive Doctorate (Dr.pl) is a professional doctoral program designed for experienced executives, leaders, and professionals who desire to obtain advanced professional certification, outside the conventional academic route.

The Executive Doctorate is designed to equip experienced professionals with advanced knowledge, skills, and networks to drive organizational success and personal growth.

Conditions for Admission

The process of admission to Executive Doctorate is through Validation of Prior Learning and Experience -VPLE. This involves the submission to Fled Institute a portfolio of evidence for evaluation of the candidate’s work experience, skills, competencies, and publication.

However, possession of Masters Degree will be an advantage.

Considerations shall be given to Senior executives in the public or private sector who are available to undertake the program.

Candidates are expected to complete the following four conditions.

  1. Theoretical Coursework – participate in a flexible course work, taught by Fled Faculty.
  2. Seminar Presentation – to conduct an in-depth study of a key concept of public interest and prepare a paper on it for presentation and assessment.
  3. Social Impact Project – Expected to initiate a social impact project to demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility.
  4. Educational Study Tour/Mentorship – to undertake a visit and mentoring engagement in a corporate or governmental Institution within or outside their country of residence, and submit learning outcome of the process.

Each Executive Doctoral Student in Public Leadership will specialize in any of the following fields:

  1. Politics & Democratic Development
  2. Health Systems Development 
  3. Business and Corporate Governance
  4. Religion & Social System Stability
  5. Bureaucracy & Public Governance
  6. Educational Systems Development
  7. International Development & Global Dynamics
  8. Humanitarian & Social Development 

Duration: 18 months

Application & Tuition: N1.5m/US$1,150 – One-off payment

We accept three-part installment payments

1st Installment: N800k/$550 (Due at inception).

2nd Installment: N400k/$350 (Due 6 months from inception)

3rd Installment: N400K/$300 (Due 9 months from inception)

NOTE: This is course is subsidized by 45%

Program Delivery: Online and onsite

Program Evaluation: Program will be evaluated based on the completion of the four conditions listed above.
