Introduction

Community leaders are the doers of development; they are the mobilizers for development. They require specific leadership skills to enable them to become more effective.

A local Government cannot grow or develop beyond the competencies of its leadership. Local Governments have enormous resources that only visionary leadership can harness and deploy for development purposes. Community Associations and Town Unions Age Grade Association need to have their leaders trained to enable them understand how to manage leadership intrigues for progress and development within their groups and beyond.
